The inspired work of Atu Ram
Atu Ram was born in the Bronx and grew up in Harlem. His parents, from down south and the Caribbean, taught him love for nature at the the same time as Atu was being exposed to the multicultural landscape of New York City. Atu strives to fill his work with both the vibrant rhythms of the surrounding cityscapes as well as the nourishing, perpetually reconfiguring energies he finds in natural ecosystems. Atu runs his own studio across the street from Central Park, where he currently devotes himself to exploring the intersection of visual media with emerging technologies.
